Description

RU 58841 (PSK-3841) is an androgen receptor antagonist that promotes hair regrowth. RU58841 is an investigational drug created for treatment against androgenic alopecia, also known as male pattern baldness(MPD).

As a topical anti-androgen, its principle of action is not the same as that of finasteride. Finasteride directly acts on 5α reductase, inhibits the conversion of testosterone into DHT, and reduces the content of DHT in the body.
