Sermorelin API

Sermorelin is a synthetic peptide consisting of the first 29 amino acids of human Growth Hormone–Releasing Hormone (GHRH 1–29). It stimulates the pituitary gland to release endogenous growth hormone (GH) in a physiological, pulsatile manner. Sermorelin represents a well-established approach for supporting growth hormone deficiency–related conditions, metabolic health, and endocrine balance.

Our Sermorelin API is manufactured using advanced chemical peptide synthesis technology, delivering high purity, excellent stability, and consistent batch quality. As a fully synthetic peptide, it is free from host cell proteins and residual DNA, ensuring enhanced biosafety and regulatory compliance. The process is optimized for scalable, commercial production.

Mechanism of Action

Sermorelin acts by mimicking endogenous GHRH and binding to GHRH receptors on somatotroph cells in the anterior pituitary:

         1. Stimulates natural GH secretion in a pulsatile pattern

         2. Promotes downstream IGF-1 production

         3. Preserves the normal hypothalamic–pituitary feedback mechanism

This physiological mode of action differentiates Sermorelin from exogenous GH administration.

Therapeutic & Clinical Benefits

Clinical and medical research has shown that Sermorelin can:

        1. Increase GH and IGF-1 levels

        2. Improve body composition and fat metabolism

        3. Support lean muscle mass and bone density

        4. Enhance sleep quality and recovery

        5. Demonstrate good long-term tolerability and safety

Sermorelin was previously FDA-approved for pediatric growth hormone deficiency, providing a strong clinical foundation for its continued use in endocrine and metabolic research.
