GHRP-2 Basic Uses
GHRP-2 (Growth Hormone Releasing Peptide-2) is a growth hormone-releasing peptide that increases the secretion of growth hormone (GH) in the body by mimicking ghrelin to activate the pituitary gland. It is primarily used for research purposes, with goals including supporting natural GH pulse release, potential improvement in body composition, recovery, and sleep.
Common Dosage Ranges
Common daily total dose range: approximately 100–900 mcg/day (divided into 1–3 injections).
Single injection recommendation: 100–300 mcg (single injections exceeding 300 mcg are not recommended).
Injection frequency: can be once, twice, or three times daily (approximately 6–8 hours apart), depending on the target.
Usually, injection on an empty stomach is recommended for better GH release.
Standard/Step-Up Protocol
| Weeks | Dose per Injection | Injections / Day | Total Daily Dose |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1–2 | 100 mcg | 2 | 200 mcg |
| 3–4 | 150 mcg | 2 | 300 mcg |
| 5–8 | 200 mcg | 2 | 400 mcg |
| 9–12 | 250–300 mcg | 1–2 | 250–600 mcg |
This gradual increase is commonly used to reduce rapid desensitization and side effects.
Advanced/More Aggressive Protocols
For experienced users or those with higher goals, some protocols recommend:
1. 200–300 mcg per dose
2. Three injections daily (morning + noon + evening)
3. Total daily dose can reach 600–900 mcg
Reconstitution and Storage Recommendations
1. Refrigerate at 2–8 °C
2. Typical stability after reconstitution: 28 days
